NZ Day 9: The Tin Shed

On the way back to Christchurch, there is an important milestone that one must stop at: The Tin Shed

This is a little high-way side place but its a cafe, a fashion and local memorabilia and specialties store and an animal farm all rolled into one. Its perfect little pitstop for rejuvenating yourself with a little free coffee and cookie and then spend some on the local Marino and Possum wool merchandise. Also, if you don’t want to carry all this stuff with you, they can post it to you anywhere in the world.

We wandered around in the farm looking at some cute native animals and plants for a bit before buying a pair of Sheep-skin Ugg boots and Possum fur lined hand gloves for Radhika. Ofcourse we got them to post them to us and received them about a week later.

Soon after this, it was our last sleep in New Zealand this trip. Come morning and we turn our camper van in at the Apollo office and fly back home.
